I do not know what to say when my husband told me: "Hey, want to go fishing in Alaska I always wanted to go halibut fishing with you." I could not believe that he wanted to go Alaska halibut fishing with me. It just did not seem right, because I'm not the athletic type girls. I would rather stay in their computer and playing an electronic fishing game. But I decided to go.

My husband started telling me all these random facts about flounder. He explained that the list of the family. When he said that, I was this image of a thin fish, wondering how authorities would fit in there. But I knew I just was funny in my thoughts, especially when he told me that the biggest halibut were weighed in at 500 pounds. I looked at my husband's column and wondered how in the world could go halibut fishing in Alaska with this thing. Does not seem like it could carry 500 pounds. However, he did not tell me that the average weight was 25 kg. It is certainly far more than 500

However, my husband decided to go to Homer, Alaska, which is considered the capital of halibut fishing in the world. This is because the 50-80 pound halibut are common to this region. I asked my husband, "Will your half to carry such a weight," he told me that. I certainly could not see how, but I took the word for it.

Try to convince me even further, he told me that our catch for the day will be very tasty, which I told him I was not going to take the responsibility of preparing the fish. It was something he had said he would do. I figured it would not look at me, though. But it was great because we met with the charter and the price is not so bad. My husband had done research before our trip to make sure he found the best hire the best ship because he wanted to market experience for me. He realized that if I enjoyed the experience, I'd let our own boat. This is something I oppose a lot for awhile.

But I'm pretty impressed with the whole experience. It was relaxing and my husband and I talked about many things, including our desire to have kids. I had no idea what are his views on the subject until we went fishing in Alaska. I learned a lot about my husband that day. I also learned a lot, when we actually reeled in 60 pounds halibut. It was so great that we had to take the butcher to have it packaged to take us home. To me sighing a sigh of relief, but I have to say that the most delicious fish I have ever had.

And now, it seems that next year my husband and I will go with one more on board.
